It's "The Big Train" and much more
LGB
is big.
In fact, the letters "LGB" stand for "Lehmann Gross Bahn" or
"Lehmann's Big Train." LGB trains are G-scale (1:22.5) - four
times larger than conventional HO-scale trains (1:87).
LGB trains are easy to put on the track, even for children.
Details on LGB trains are big enough to see and strong enough
to withstand frequent handling. But you can fit a full circle
of LGB track in space less than 1.3 meters (51 inches) wide.
LGB is for indoors and outdoors.
LGB is the first production model railroad designed for both
indoor and outdoor use. Major body parts are made of impact-resistant
polycarbonates. Gearboxes are protected from dirt and moisture.
Track rails are machined from solid virgin brass.
LGB is simple.
LGB trains are designed for people who want to have fun with
trains. Track sections connect quickly without tools. Electrical
connections are simple with color-coded wires and terminals. Everything
is made to work together . and work right.
LGB is complete.
The growing LGB program includes more than 600 quality G-scale
products. There are steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric
locomotives and more than 150 freight and
passenger cars. There are more than 30 different track sections.
There are signals, overhead catenary systems, bridges and figures.
There are even advanced digital controls, like the easy-to-use
"LGB Multi-Train System."
LGB is for the family.
Children of all ages have fun with trains, but LGB offers you
more than entertainment. When kids play with LGB trains they learn
physical skills. When they build LGB layouts, they learn to be
creative. When they operate LGB layouts together, they learn to
cooperate. With LGB, they learn a lot.
